In October, when Trump complained about ungrateful Jews, there was little or no pushback from Republicans.
After Ye tweeted that he was “going death con3 on JEWISH people,” the former president invited him to dinner. He came with a notorious neo-Nazi.
And, once again, Trump offered no apology. He doesn’t think he has to, because his base doesn’t mind. These are his people. And he needs them.
We all know Trump is egotistical and as such will never backtrack. This was well known forever and ever. So, his refusal to apologize obviously demonstrates nothing.
ReplyDeleteTrump is not anti-Semitic. He is not pro-Semitic. Trump is pro-Trump. If an identifiable group supports him, then they're amazing! Awesome! The best! And if they don't, then they're horrible, ungrateful and terrible.
ReplyDeleteIt so happens that Kanye was pro-Trump so who cares if he's a Black neo-Nazi? He's pro-Trump.
Liberal American Jews were profoundly and visciously anti-Trump and responded to all his pro-Israel moves with hatred so they're horrible.
The "anti-semitism" charge regarding American Jews and his recognition of Jerusalem is strangely a Reform allegation, weaponised by the Left. remember the Ohr Sameach who said about those who considered Berlin as their "Jerusalem". Rav Meir Simcha was referring to the reform and assimilated who had more or less abandoned Torah, and replaced it with urbane Germanic culture.
ReplyDeleteTrump is appealing to the Jewish soul - אִֽם־אֶשְׁכָּחֵ֥ךְ יְֽרוּשָׁלָ֗͏ִם תִּשְׁכַּ֥ח יְמִינִֽי׃ If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand wither;
Only the apikorsim, and NetureiKorsim can consider Jerusalem as not their Capital.
