The economist Kondratiev says there are Long economic cycles, called long waves, which last around 50 years. We are seeing economic stagflation, which occurred in the 70s , after the 73 oil crisis. This could take us into the next decade, just like Thatcher and Reagan tried to fight inflation into the 1980s.
