The congressional commission reviewing Pentagon property honoring the Confederacy is recommending renaming facilities and removing depictions dedicated to Robert E. Lee and other leaders at West Point and the U.S. Naval Academy.
Because the Confederate soldiers are the true heroes for "real" Americans so they will riot and go on Fox News to complain about being replaced by Leftist democrats, Jews and other usurpers

I don't think Jews -- Republicans and Democrats -- banding together to elect Jewish candidates is necessarily a good thing. The U.S. Constitution as currently interpreted by the courts is amoral at best.
The Confederates lost. So the victors get to define history. But the Confederacy had some justification for their actions, it seems to me.
The Constitution itself had enshrined slavery in the United States. It did not prevent citizens of the country at some later point outlawing slavery. And that is where the U.S. was headed in the years leading up to the Civil War.
Where things got out of hand was that geographically the "north" of the country was leaning towards abolition, while there was less support for it in the south.
So, abolition felt to the southerners like the northerners were dictating to them.
Today the country is not divided as much along geographical lines, although there is still some of that, such as the cities versus the less urbanized areas. The divide is hard for me to describe. I think it could be described as those who exercise more self-control and those who choose not to exercise less self-control.
Historically, those who exercised self-control enslaved those who did not. And that is what we have to some extent in the U.S. The mental health professionals, who I call "menthols", rule the country through a network of social workers, therapists, psychiatrists etc. in conjuction with phsrmaceutical companies and the backing of the legislatures and courts and thus law enforcement.
Those who oppose the menthols are labeled crazy. And since the menthols get to define crazy, they can get away with this.
Thus the labeled as crazy crowd is hearkening back to the Confederacy as their touchstone, since that moment in U.S. history was defined as one group feeling they were being dictated to by another group.
We have Scottish nationalists, Irish and even Welsh who wish secede From the Union in UK. So what's wrong with the new confeds? The same leftist woke brigade want a Palestine Gaza and wb. So why do they get so upset with Texas which used to be Mexican?
Right, and when BLM spent the summer of 20 rioting, you assured us that those were "mostly peaceful protests". I doubt Confederate supporters will do billions of dollars of damage to property and the economy like BLM did.
