“There doesn’t have to be a process, as I understand it,” Trump told Fox News host Sean Hannity. “If you’re the president of the United States, you can declassify just by saying, ‘It’s declassified.’ Even by thinking about it.”
“There can be a process, but there doesn’t have to be. You’re the president. You make that decision. So when you send it, it’s declassified,” Trump added. “I declassified everything.”
You have to admit, Donald Trump is in a special category when it comes to the status of secret documents.
ReplyDeleteIndicting Donald Trump, and assuming he doesn't plead guilty, will lead to a long, expensive, and ultimately pointless trial. It will solidify support for Trump, not chip away at it.
It will, no doubt, be the Trial of the Century. And if the jury acquits there will be no stopping Trump from retaking the White House.
Can we talk about something else, like Mr. Putin's threat to blow us to smithereens?
