 the controversy about the precise contribution of weight versus 
exercise to cardiovascular health will likely continue, to optimize 
health and minimize the risk of cardiovascular disease, patients should 
pay attention to both: maintaining a healthy weight and being 
physically active," said Dr. Anthony Rosenzweig, chief of the cardiology
 division at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and a professor of
 medicine at Harvard Medical School.
This is a decent study but it's only one of several now out.
ReplyDeleteThere are four ways to be: thin or fat, fit or unfit. The current evidence overwhelmingly suggests that thin and fit is best but if you have a choice between thin and unfit or fat and fit, you will do better if you are fat and fit. That has not changed.
