History has been unkind to the president’s party in midterm elections, with the party holding the White House losing Congressional seats in 19 of the past 22 contests since 1938. This year appears likely to reinforce that pattern — and, in the process, could severely undermine Donald Trump’s ability to govern, and also loosen his grip on the Republican Party during his final two years in office.
Taken together, the evidence points away from Iran or gas prices as the primary source of Republican weakness. The deeper problem is the perception that the party has failed to deliver on its domestic promises. Trump retains ardent supporters who trust his judgment on the international stage and view him as a last line of resistance against an America headed for a massive reset.
Of course the mainstream media is running the story over and over - America is doing poorly.
ReplyDeleteWell no it's not. Good economic growth. Stable inflation. Decent employment. It's in good shape but the MSM repeatedly cries that it isn't and the lie sinks in.
Here's how the Republicans can turn it around
1) In every race where there's a DSA candidate, campaign on "This is about America, not Palestine".
2) Remind people that a Democratic win means 2 years of repeated impeachment attempts and indictment attempts while the necessary business of the country gets left undone.
Wow! you didnt understand the article
ReplyDeleteRepublicans have done nothing for average citizen even though there were no impeachment attempts and they are angry at the Republicans about empty promises
