In the current geopolitical context, faced with the weakness of European security, and in the face of Putin's hegemonic intentions, we cannot blindly follow Donald Trump's logic on the solution of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.
On one hand, I was horrified that Israel voted with the US at the UN on this. I really feel they should've abstained.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, Israel really, really needs Trump on side for the next phases of the war and if he shouted "Israel didn't support us at the f--king UN? Well f--k them! Cut off their weapons and don't take any calls from Bibi! We'll screw them bigly!" then that would be bad.
So sadly this is realpolitik.
When a new president releases weapons, bunker buster bombs, military bulldozers, you don't vote against what they asked you to. Also Ukraine usually voted against Israel in the UN, so l'azazel as they say
DeleteSo your philosophy of life is to sell your soul or rather there is no morality . the only measure is material gain
DeleteI would rather have more security for my family and community than to sacrifice it to just so chielmnicki's einekels can be happy for half a day.
DeleteWhen you claim Ukraine usually votes against Israel you are simply noting that before Zelensky the pro Russian government Ukrainian tended to vote like Russia
DeleteI should have checked the facts before trying to slip that one past you.
