In February 2017, asked what the government planned to do about the uptick in threats to Jewish centers and the rise in anti-Semitism since his election, Donald Trump responded, “I am the least anti-Semitic person that you’ve ever seen in your entire life.” That claim, like the one he would make a few months later about being “the least racist person there is anywhere in the world,” obviously was and remains not true at all. How do we know? Let’s examine the evidence!
Again Trump gets condemned for pointing out the truth. It's like when folks note how evil George Soros is and get called anti-Semites because he happens to be a Jew.
ReplyDeleteOutside of the Orthodox Jewish community, the most pro-Jewish and pro-Israel commnities are Chrisian, far more than the Reformatives. When Trump pushed through pro-Israel initiatives during his presidency it was from Reformative Jewish groups that he got only hate and accusations of Jew hatred. Pointing out that liberal Jewish groups just doesn't seem to care about Israel or the Jewish nation and show him no gratitude for supporting both isn't anti-Semitism. Its the painful truth.
