"The deal that is taking shape is a reckless deal," Ben-Gvir said in a televised statement, saying it would "erase the achievements of the war" by releasing hundreds of Palestinian militants and withdrawing from strategic areas in Gaza, leaving Hamas undefeated.

  1. Ben Gvir never served in the army, so he's not a good judge of when to stop the war.

  2. Trump never served in the army, and was still a good Commander in Chief. The main thing is to have clear rational thinking.
BTW, the reason Ben Gvir didn't serve in the army, was because the army refused to take him.
    From an interview with Ben-Gvir:
"I will never forget the conversation with the commander of the recruitment office at the time, who told me that my opinions prevent the IDF from recruiting me. "So you're actually saying you're a political army?" I asked the commander, who didn't answer and didn't tell me a statistic that I learned in retrospect – Knesset members from the left did indeed turn to me and demand that my enlistment be prevented, and the IDF agreed to them.
