  1. Bravo Meir Kin. I heard the whole 35”. Most interesting. I’m a graduate of YU June 1967, YC and TI. As a student I would see in the cafeteria Rabbi Schacter and Rabbi Moshe Tendler. I heard Rabbi Lookstein in the 1980’s say that one should support a woman that received a civil divorce over her husband’s objections and is fighting with public shamming for a get. No. A woman must not turn to civil courts over her husband’s objections in divorce matters. A woman must not turn to ORA and to Agunah International over her husband’s objections.

On this blog I had debates with Rabbi Schacter. I debated with Rabbi Schacter on “If his master gave him a wife, and she has borne him children, the wife and her children shall belong to the master, and he shall leave alone.” (Exodus 21:4). I quoted Hertz Chumash p. 306 “If the Israelite had been permitted to take them into freedom with him, it would have impaired the purity of the race, and created a body of half-castes.” Rabbi Schacter didn’t see any difference between Exodus 21:4 and ORA and Agunah International.

My case Mo. No. 2020-352 June 29, 2020 will show, God willing, corruption in NYS civil divorces.
