From my limited undertanding pruning with medication won't help without strengthening crucial synapses with stategies like RDI Relationship development intervention etc . Pruning takes place when important synapses are strengthened and as a consequence the weaker ones are then pruned. I am still checking out and waiting for responses to see if I am correct
