US-Houthi ceasefire deal does not include Israel, says Houthi spokesperson

A ceasefire deal between the Houthis and the US does not include sparing Israel, the group said on Wednesday, suggesting its shipping attacks that have disrupted global trade and challenged world powers will not come to a complete halt.

President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday the US would stop bombing the Iran-aligned Houthis in Yemen, saying that the group had agreed to stop attacking US ships.

After Trump made the announcement, Oman said it had mediated the ceasefire deal to halt attacks on US vessels.

    And the US will continue to supply the weapons Israel needs to hit the Houthis. As opposed to the prior administration which barely hit the Houthis and tried to keep Israel from doing it too.

      US arms shipments are arriving in Israel daily. Trump said the truce is between the US and the Houthis so Israel is free to continue acting as it wants.
