Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pushed back in an interview with Fox News on Sunday against US Vice President JD Vance’s recent claim that US President Donald Trump is Israel’s only ally, insisting that Jerusalem still has “many friends” around the world, while still highlighting its unique relationship with Washington.

Netanyahu also took the opportunity to reiterate that he and Trump share the same goals when it comes to Iran, but stressed that even if Washington doesn’t reach a nuclear deal with Tehran, he will ensure that it never obtains a nuclear weapon so long as he is prime minister.

The premier was questioned during the interview about public disagreements between Washington and Jerusalem over the memorandum of understanding signed by the US and Iran to end the war that began on February 28.

  1. Bibi's right but the problem is that most of the countries don't matter that much and the desire for friendship is subject to changes in government. Argentina is currently a friend of Israel because of Milei. Brazil was friendly because of Bolsinaro but now is actively hostile. Slovenia is once again on side because of their new president but Hungary is now an antagonist with Orban out of power.
And all of them together don't replace the influence and power of the US.

    1. Vance would not win an election for the GOP, he's too narrow minded.

    2. The problem with American politics right now is that people aren't voting FOR who they want, they're voting AGAINST who they don't want. How many people who voted for Kamala or Biden back in 2020 did so out of enthusiasm for that candidate and how many did so because "I can't let Trump win!"?
So with Vance, it'll all depend on his opposition. If it's someone like Fetterman who is moderate like Shapiro but pro-Israel unlike Shapiro, he would get shellacked. Against someone like Newsom? He'd have a good chance of winning
