Chareidim rioters now attacking judge and his family at home. And the judge is frum. How do you blame Trump for that?

DeleteSolberg directed the Israel Police to assist military enforcement authorities and actively participate in enforcing conscription laws within the chareidi community.
DeleteClearly "frum" doesn't equate to being nice to chareidim. There is a schism in israel- everyone against the charedim. Just as prophesied
DeleteAnonymous, I feel terrible for you. It has to be hurtful and insulting to not be invited to all family events. What you are experiencing is not unique to this type of Jew. It just happens with the addition of additional generations. Also, although you are probably close family, they don't find all that much in common with you. Let me ask you: do you go? Do you participate? What do you do in order to try and keep up the relationship? Or are you guilty of the same thing that they are?
DeleteIt's not everyone against the Chareidim. It's the Chareidim against everyone, even the people who want to help them.
DeleteWorld’s Most Advanced AI Rabbi. Daf Hayomi today Chullin 35a: The Gemara asks: And from where do you say that the purity of teruma is impurity vis-à-vis sacrificial food? It is from a mishna (Ḥagiga 18b), as we learned: The halakhic status of the garments of an am ha’aretz, who does not scrupulously observe the halakhot of ritual purity, is like that of items rendered impure by treading, e.g., items designated for sitting or lying upon which a zav or a menstruating woman sits or lies, which are rendered a primary source of ritual impurity for individuals who scrupulously observe the halakhot of ritual purity [perushin] and eat their non-sacred food in a state of purity. In other words, it is considered a primary level of impurity for them. The halakhic status of the garments of perushin is like that of items rendered impure by treading for priests who partake of teruma. In addition, the halakhic status of the garments of priests who partake of teruma is like that of items rendered impure by treading for those who eat sacrificial food.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. My theory. Yes I believe our Talmud Sages knew of real physical dangers (diseases viruses germs) of touching garments of am ha’aretz who may be a zav or a menstruating woman etc. Chullin 35b: “as with regard to garments there is concern lest his wife sit upon them when she is impure with the impurity of a menstruating woman.” I remember reading in USA army book, some 60 or so years ago in Brooklyn, how to survive in wild jungle. Advice: don’t touch people in the jungle, without making it seem that you abhor touching. The Gamara Sages advocated a high level of purity, not to touch the am ha’aretz or his clothing.
