Israel's military said Iran launched waves of missiles on Tuesday, with emergency services reporting three people killed, hours after U.S. President Donald Trump announced a complete ceasefire between Israel and Iran to end a 12-day war.
Witnesses said they heard explosions near Tel Aviv and Beersheba in southern Israel. Israel's military said six waves of missiles were launched by Iran and Israel's national ambulance service said three people were killed in Beersheba, the first reported deaths in Israel since Trump announced the ceasefire late on Monday.
This will continue. Iran will think it's like in the past where the ceasefire would announced but only the Israelis would be expected to cease firing. They'll continue, expecting the US to denounce the Israeli reprisals as the real violation. Trump will likely say "Well I offered Iran a way out and clearly they don't want it. Screw 'em."
ReplyDeleteYou can't have one side "ceasing", and the other side is still "firing".
ReplyDeleteAny "violation" of the ceasefire by Iran, should be met by "violation" by Israel.
But for the world, it's always been accepted - Israel ceases, the Arabs continue to fire, the UN condemns Israel when they hit back as the true violaters. Look at Guetteres, calling for a war crimes investigation into Israel's bombing of Iran's military while remaining silent on Iran's bombing of Israel's cities. Why should Iran think it's different this time?
Deleteyes Trump is not the blank check supporter of Israel as has been claimed
