Stealing with Complications

Tosefta (Bava Kama 10) If one steals from the public he is obligated to make restitution to the public. Stealing from the public is harsher than stealing from an individual. That is because one who stole from an individual is able to placate his victim and return that which he stole. In contrast one who stole from the public can not readily placate the victim and return what was stolen.

Tosefta (Bava Kama 10) One who stole from a non-Jew must return it to the owner. In addition the sin is more serious than stealing from a Jew because it entails chillul HaShem

  1. “Stealing with Complications” Interesting. Allow me my motion to the NYS Court of Appeals
    “I quote NYS Constitution Article 6 \S3. a
The jurisdiction of the court of appeals shall be limited to the review of questions of law...
Is it legal or ethical a QDRO that effectively makes a former spouse the full owner of 55% of a man's pension? Surely not. The QDRO 2007 states:

...The Plaintiff as Alternate Payee is entitled to 55\% of the benefits payable under the subject annuity contract as enforcement of the Defendants's child support arrears and interest obligations\ldots
Susan thwarted all my efforts for a Court Order or a release from the Plaintiff/Altrnate Payee. Why? Susan put in a 9\% compound interest on amount allegedly owed. I disputed the amounts allegedly owed, saying I work at Machon Lev and not Lehman College, retroactive to when I was still in NY not fair etc etc. Effectively the 2007 QDRO makes Susan the permanent owner of 55\% of my pension. Susan is not the owner of 55\% of my pension. Legally and ethically Susan is not entitled to 55\% of my pension, which TIAA has been paying her since early 1994 with no end in sight. This is a simple matter.”

  2. Happy Holiday, this morning my shul in Bnei Brak we read Isaiah 11 “6And the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, And the leopard shall lie down with the kid; And the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them. 7And the cow and the bear feed; Their young ones shall lie down together; And the lion shall eat straw like the ox. 8And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, And the weaned child shall put his hand on the basilisk’s den. 9They shall not hurt nor destroy In all My holy mountain; For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, As the waters cover the sea.” Hey does that men that Sinwar and his fellow travelers will be good, or do we have to kill them first before they kill us Heaven forbid? Follow?
