Trump is doing exactly what he claims was done against him. Yes, absolutely true.
And if you supported it when it was being done against him, you're a hypocrite for opposing it now.
The only relevant issue is whether you approve Trump's violation of the law not whether he should be permitted to seek revenge against imagined mistreatment. We should cancel future elections because he claims he was unfairly defeated! We should end impeachment because he claims the charges against him were phony. We should cancel all prosecution for fraud and rape because he claims he was wrongly convicted ?! Et cetra et cetra

ReplyDeleteI would oppose cancelling elections. I would support providing proof of citizen and, where necessary, proof of living in the district one is voting in for all voters. That would stop Democrats from busing in hordes of illegals to ensure swing votes go their way. Why do you think they're against ID for voting?

Every other major democracy demands ID and proof of citizenship to vote. Only in America is it wrong. Wonder why?

DeleteIn Canada you show up at the polling station in your neighbourhood and they check to ensure you've got proper ID and citizenship. Not that hard. Usually the problem is university students who are living in the neighbourhood because of school but officially live elsewhere but that's figured out through advance registration.

Garnel the fact is that there is little or no voting fraud in US. The point of contention is that you favor what you view as a benevolent dictator who is not bound by laws and a constitution while I want a society of laws that apply to all. Trump is trying to bypass the laws and constitution by declaring emergencies and issuing executive orders. Trump has long declared he can murder and rape without consequences as well as committing massive fraud. He can defame anyone but he is beyond criticism as he is a superior being. You think Jews are safer with a king or dictator who can punish anyone he likes - even imprisoning or executing without a trial. History indicates otherwise. Furthermore even if Trump fulfills all your fantasizes. What happens to his replacement or a Democrat who acts like Trump?
