Musk savages Farage, calls for new Reform UK leader

Musk’s strident criticism of centrist politicians like Prime Minister Keir Starmer (whom he called a “national embarrassment” who “must go” on Sunday) is not unexpected — the Tesla entrepreneur’s politics have veered ever further to the right on race and migration in recent years, and he often picks fights online with left-wing leaders.

But his schism with Farage, a darling of the anti-immigration movement, is more surprising. Earlier on Sunday, when asked in a television interview about the insults and semi-truths Musk has thrown at Labour politicians, Farage defended Musk’s right to free speech.

  1. Starmer is no centrist. His economic and political positions are far left, and he has been compared to his mentor Jeremy Corbyn. he is only pro Israel because of his wife who is (half) Jewish, but even so will arrest Bibi if he sets foot on UK soil.
Musk is talking a lot of exaggeration, and doesn't really know what is going on in the world. Farage is actually the most successful politician in UK or most effective. His party is now a threat to both the main parties of UK politics.

    1. First, he's not pro-Israel. His government has engaged in military boycotts and expressed support for Israel's enemies. He enthusiastically supports the ICC's warrants.
Starmer's real problem is that he was a target of rage voting - as in people were mad at the Conservatives so they voted Labour. Within a few weeks of the election, his poll numbers had dropped to the point that he'd barely get a minority if another election was called and the Conservatives haven't even fully reorganized yet.
As for Farage, no he's not a threat. Like Coryn on the left, he has his dedicated following but it will never translate into mass support.

    2. Starmer refused to condemn Israel or call for a ceasefire in the early part of the war - which means he has some pro-israel sympathies. He's also a left wing lawyer so he is now conflicted with the ICC abduction warrant.

Farage is the most interesting political leader now. The rage voting you mentioned is now swinging away from labour, and they will most likely lose the next election if things continue this way. (i can't predict what will happen in politics). The problem that causing much speculation in British politics is that the Conservative party elected a centre right leader, Ms Badenoch. She has not correctly read the electorate, and is now being perceived as weak. So the Conservatives face being overtaken by Reform (no pun intended!). Reform is Farage's party, nothing to do with Judaic groups.
moreover, some disgruntled Conservatives are moving to the REform party. If this is sustained, then Reform have a chance of becoming the real opposition, and winning the next election.
