Primary credit for the ceasefire between Israel and those who still aspire to murder it goes to the Israel Defense Forces. So, credit also goes to the prime minister who wielded the IDF with a properly austere regard for the opinions of mankind, Benjamin Netanyahu.
Historians will have to acknowledge that Netanyahu, who is responsible for his nation’s safety, grasped the nettle. He acted on Napoleon’s axiom, which has various reported versions but one clear meaning: In large undertakings, avoid tentativeness.
For decades, U.S. officials belabored Israel with reasons why, in negotiations with bellicose enemies, it should “take a risk for peace.” To one official, Netanyahu, referring to a tranquil Washington suburb, replied, “You live in Chevy Chase. Don’t play with our future.”
The recent statement of the Agudah which thanks Trump but fails to mention Bibi or Israel would seem to disagree with this.
ReplyDeleteWow you are a member of Agudah?.
DeleteIt is simply politically smart to flatter the orange clown!
No, the point is to deny that the Israeli army accomplished anything at all. It was the parasites at their shtenders and their prayers that got Trump the koyach he needed to end the war.
DeleteAnd ending the war is a good thing because it means the evil Zionists will stop their pressure on the heiliger bochrim to actually contribute to the country they live in.
i won't name names, but some people who are supposedly learned are still peddling the falsity that Israeli army doesn't lack manpower, and they only want hareidim in order to destroy the yeshivas.
DeleteThis is why the Agudah wanted a ceasefire. Couldn't care less about the strain on the RZ community or the rest of Israeli society. The war has to end so they'll stop talking about drafting the bochrim.
