He has no empathy and is a total narcissist. Agreed. But if it's a mental condition, how can he be criticized for something beyond his control? He can't change it and part of his illness is that he doesn't understand why he needs to.

I'm all for constructive criticism, which in this case would have meant having a psychologist explain why his lack of empathy is something for us to be concerned about, that is, how it is not something he can change and how it affects policy decisions, national security, etc.
Instead, these segments often focus on: "Why can't he act differently and be more like this leader or that leader?," as if it were in his power to act differently.

I understand. I agree. My concern is whether he is dangerous to myself and to society. The blind man at least knows he's blind and therefore won't drive or be my pilot.
