Conservative media hammered President Donald Trump for his surprising announcement on Friday afternoon that he has agreed to reopen the federal government for three weeks while continuing to negotiate with Democrats to secure the southern border. The agreement came without funding for his border wall.
Conservative political commentator and author Ann Coulter roasted Trump on Twitter without explicitly naming him.
“Good news for George Herbert Walker Bush: As of today, he is no longer the biggest wimp ever to serve as President of the United States,” Coulter tweeted.
Ann Coulter. Really?
ReplyDeleteHark!
Is that the sound of the bottom of the barrel being scraped?
no it is trump calling for help
ReplyDeleteMany new theories are being published, and research is trying to break the deadlock in lack of treatments. IYH there will be a safe cure very soon.
ReplyDeleteKalynymus,
ReplyDeleteIf you read this article nobody talks about a cure for Alzheimers soon. If it happens in a year that would be wonderful. But soon? Where is your proof for that?
Dovid Eidensohn
This is from David Eidensohn who just had enough of the Agudah backing gays. It all began in 1996 when I asked two major Rosh Yeshivas of Agudas Yisroel, one who is dead and one who is very active today, to help me fight gays. They both replied, "It is forbidden to fight gays. We are against hate." And lately we have a prominent Agudah Rov accepting a position as an Assemblyman in Illinois even though the resigning Assemblyman who named him is pro-gay, and the Agudah Rov agreed to back gays and other things that the resigning assemblyman wanted. I just wrote a two page letter blasting the new Agudah who back gays and consider people who follow the Torah in Vayikro 18 and 20 the mitsvah to kill an active gay as haters. What about "those who hate HaShem I hate"? The gay is a gay because he has a terrible yetser hora. But the Agudah is a pro-gay because he wants more money. Who is worse? And if Kalish from Illlinois would become a gay, it would be an improvement. Better that than an apikoress for the money.
ReplyDeleteMy last sentence was a prayer IYH - Im Yirtze Hashem, soon. I wasn't saying this as fact.
ReplyDeleteThis is why the political process is broken. Yes, Trump caved. There was pressure and he gave in.
ReplyDeleteWhat should have been the response from the left? Mr Trump, we appreciate you recognize that government workers are suffering because they're not getting paid. We appreciate your putting the needs of those workers over your desire for that wall we won't let you build. Thank you for compromising.
But that's not what we got. We got Nyah Nyah! We beat Trump! He's a loser!
How does that encourage mature governing?
