Bloomberg, who donated over 1 million shekels to rebuild Israel's north and $44 million to the Magen David Adom health emergency service, continued to solidify his position at the top of the 50 biggest American philanthropists with donations totaling $3.7 billion, twice as much as the amount donated by the second billionaire named on the list, Netflix founder Wilmot Reed Hastings Jr. who with his wife, Patricia, donated close to $1.6 million in the past year.
So serious question: how many of them have Jewish children? In my community, a couple of generations ago there was one family that was quiet wealthy, as in "Put my name on the building I just donated" wealthy. Almost all the kids married out and the grandkids aren't Jews and our community no longer has such a rich family.

Many Jewish organizations (and many yeshivot and other mosdot) fail to do "succession planning", sometimes on purpose, in denial of the future.
DeleteBy the way, Bloomberg himself married a shiksa, and his daughters do not identify as Jewish anyway.
So you won't accept his shicsa dollars?
