Modly came to his own conclusion and offered his resignation. Modly’s options were few. Officials said it would have been difficult for him to rebuild his relationship with sailors in the fleet, and equally hard to restore his reputation among senior military leaders and retired naval officers who believed his sharp remarks on the Roosevelt crossed a line.

  1. “US Navy boss resigns” --- He may get reinstated.
I remember when my brother Yitzchok ben Avraham Abba Hacohen, passed away Sunday 11 Nisan 5780 and his wife Chavie, drove me to the airport July 8, 1991 when I made aliya--- Chavie warned me that I must keep 2 days Yom Tov for a year. No. That’s an anti-Zionist opinion. See http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Articles/Article.aspx/25518
“Why did Rav Kook oppose a public second Seder so vehemently? Like many other Halakhic authorities in Jerusalem, he favored the opinion of the Hakham Tzvi, who ruled that a tourist visiting in Eretz Yisrael should act like a local resident and observe only one day of Yom Tov.”
I’m near the end of Churchill’s 4 books on WW2. My theory is that had Churchill agreed with Roosevelt and Stalin’s idea of 1942 to attack Hitler, maybe, Hitler would’ve fallen sooner. Yes the attacks in North Africa were successful. Hitler threw in 100,000 more soldiers into Tunisia. Hitler’s soldiers were trapped and dying in Russia. I support 100% Trump and Netanyahu. Churchill acted wisely in balancing risks in fighting Hitler. Churchill is lovable and smart as are Trump and Netanyahu.
