For heaven's sake, Trump was just investigated by Mueller for two-and-a-half tumultuous years for allegedly bringing the Russian government into the 2016 election and now he has attempted in one phone call to bring the Ukrainian government into the 2020 election! Does he understand the laws he has sworn to uphold?
It was to remedy just such reckless, constitutionally destructive behavior that impeachment was intended.
Yeah, impeachable. But, also justifiable.
ReplyDeleteI think it's good that the Bidens are getting the third degree. It should be investigated all their shady political- business dealings.
At the same time, the President went about it all wrong. He gave the impression, perhaps inadvertently, of using military aid and weapon sales as leverage for his political gain. And it's not like he was ill advised. He could have avoided this conflict. That's impeachable behavior, and he got called out on it by a group of people within and without his administration who cooked up this whistleblower report.
So yes the report was concocted. And the President provided the opposition with the raw ingredients. And it's also good the President pressured foreign governmernts to root out the Bidens' corruption.
All of this is classic Trump. Stir the pot till the aroma is so enticing that everybody comes to the kitchen to get a bowl of what's in it. Something for everyone! And Donald Trump the ringmaster of the circus.
