At this point, I don't think he's even going to get impeached. The impeachment is backfiring because...
1. Speaker Pelosi won't put the inquiry to a vote. 2. Cong. Schiff established himself as a lier. 3. Ukrainian President Zelensky said he didn't feel pressured. 4. The Senate will never convict President Trump. In fact the Senate may not even put on a trial if enough Senators feel the articles of impeachment were incorrectly formulated and voted on.
In the end, the Democrats will appear worse than Donald Trump. As I've said before, it was useful for me to watch UFC fights and other fighting matches like boxing bouts to understand what is going on. The goal is NOT to be right 100% of the time. The goal is to either be the last man standing or the last man the referee allows to continue fighting or the one the judges deem the winner.
Everyone takes hits. Everyone can bleed. Everyone can hurt. That doesn't make everyone a loser. Reasonable people can disagree who fought better. But ultimately, there's a winner and a loser.
And because Donald Trump is ALREADY in the White House, he's in the stronger position. The Dems bit off more than they can chew. They messed up. Vice President Biden could easily have beat Donald Trump in the next election. Now VP Biden is damaged goods.
In conclusion, the fact that President Trump did something wrong will turn out to be less relevant than the fact that the Democrats tried to stick a shiv in him.
