I'm not sure what's worse, falsely implying that this will cure your pain, or the fact that a mind altering drug (dosed via ingestion) is being marketed to the masses of people without extensive testing on it
First of all, the method of administration. Lungs are not built to inhale smoke or vaping fluids. Google "popcorn lung" to see what happens when you vape marijuana, for example. Oral is always safer than inhalation. Second, THC is the psychoactive component of marijuana. That's the one you want to avoid. However, it does have benefits in the treatment of illness-related anorexia and chronic nausea, especially after chemotherapy. CBD has multiple medical benefits including reduction of nausea. and chronic pain without getting one "stoned". On the other hand, there is no medical benefit from combusted tobacco. None. Gornisht. Bupkes. Efes.

S Sofer is confusing THC, which is best avoided except for very specific medical conditions, with CBD which is a much more benign compound.
ReplyDeleteThat's fair.
ReplyDeleteBut you are also overlooking the fact that CBD, and especially the OTC brands that would be found in edibles, has a considerable amount of THC in it!
