Excellent article. It is essential as parents/educators to emphasize hashgachos pratis to ourselves and children as often as possible. Those living in Israel have seen numerous and continuous examples of hashgachos pratis, and the atmosphere is spiritually awake.
All of Rav Shternbuch's recent articles, also published in the English HAMODIAH have been excellent, and are unusual for the way they talk of how very different the current times are, and how close Mashiach is, coming from a non-Lubavitcher, it makes one sit up and take notice.
And what of those Rabbis who believe(d) that hashgacha pratit does not extend to hashem getting involved with every single detail of a Jew's life?
Also interesting is the quote from shir hashirim which IIRC also includes Kol Dodi Dofek and another famous understanding of hashgacha pratit (and the state of israel) which I'm guessing R' Sternbuch would not find as appealing?
Thank you for posting this for us to see. It is excellent and timely.
