BBC Broadcaster Rabbi YY Rubinstein announced he would resign from the broadcasting corporation due to "inexcusable" antisemitism on Monday.
Rubinstein posted his resignation letter on Facebook, writing it is "a very sad moment" for him. He wrote that his resignation was sparked by the broadcaster's coverage of a group of Jewish teenagers being attacked on a bus in London.
Many have accused the BBC of falsely reporting the group of teenagers used anti-Muslim slurs during the attack.
Last year during the Israel-Gaza confrontation there were multiple demonstrations in Toronto and Montreal here in Canada both in favour of Israel and Hamas. There were also violent confrontations between Jews and Arabs during some of these demonstrations. In every case, it was Arabs attacking Jews. When asked for comment, our idiot prime minister said it was important to reject both anti-Semitism and Islamophobia.
ReplyDeleteBut there were no recorded acts of Jews attacking Arabs or even shouting anti-Muslim slogans. So what was the Islamophobia? You must conclude: Jews defending themselves from Mulsims is Islamophobia.
We are in a situation where, if someone cuts me off in traffic and I give him the finger and it turns out he's Muslim, I've just committed an act of Islamophobia. Anything other than surrender to their demands and wishes is Islamophobia. That's where we are now.
