Rabbi E., Do you realize that the heading of the first paragraph is "rejecting the psak of a rabbi" and at the end R. Shternbuch apparently says a Talmid Chacham needs to give the psak about going to the police? I thought that R. Shternbuch has always held that a rabbi does NOT need to be consulted in the case of suspected abuse???
