Thousands were investigated in connection with the shootings, millions of shekels were spent to no avail, until one of the four felt betrayed and spoke to police.

This was actual blood libel agasint Eli Yishai. If I were his advisor, I would tell him to sue those who blamed him for this act of murder.
ReplyDeleteYour summary of the case is not accurate. It was not gay against gay. The murderer was actually from a charedi family and veered into crime. He was not gay. He believed that his brother (or close relative) was raped by a gay man and so he set out to murder that man. In the end that alleged rapist was not there, so in hatred toward the whole bunch, he shot randomly. That IS a hate crime of sorts. Anyway the murderer and his accomplice were not gay. They did get come information about the layout of the building from a gay friend of theirs (who apparently did not realize that they were planning a murder).
ReplyDeleteI think, in the interest of accuracy, you should revise your headline.
