  1. Is this the first time this has been published here? People need to know. It needs to be plastered all over Philadelphia and posted in Ami and Mishpacha magazines. In English.

  2. Here is the irony - today in America, the greatest living gadol is Rav Sh. Kamenetsky. And the list of signatories , they are likely of inferior stature to that of Rav Kamenetsky shlita.

Use a name. Or you will soon disappear.
      What's shl?
This pashkevil is against rsk and NG. They are not naming them.

    3. All I am saying is that Rav Shmuel, may he be well, is probably the gadol hador in America.
Actually that's what Rav nosson K said when he was discussing his own book.

    4. What makes someone a gadol? When they admit that they made a mistake. In this case a huge mistake. Or causing a huge mistake or at least being complicit in a huge mistake and not fixing it because she lives in his neighborhood.

    5. She is still marriedNovember 9, 2025 at 10:25 PM

The Kaminetzkys could easily fix this situation. Aside from them I don't think one single Posek said that what Rav Nota Greenblatt ah did was correct. He was mislead at best and set up / lied to at worst.

It's hard to admit you were wrong. But when every single Posek in the Torah world says the baby is a mamzeres and that the Baltimore Beis Din is the only one with jurisdiction and she is still married to her first husband, what more is there to say?

    6. Not really
a regular guy can admit he is wrong, doesn't make him a gadol.

Rav Nota was a great poseq. I am not taking a position on the case in question.

    7. He was remade a leading poseq posthumously
      A nice gentleman though

    8. By whom?
Anyway, that's often the way it goes

  3. The Torah forbids a mamzer from entering into the kehilla.
What happens to mamzeres who marries a non Jew, will the kids still be mamzerim?

    1. So she has to have sons, and they can decide -> convert, as they will not be considered mamzerim anymore

btw, there's a chazaka in the gemara, that there are no mamzerim, because a woman would rather kill the child at birth than for them to suffer the fate mamzerus

    2. Not full fledged, but mamzerim. Sons or daughters.
No conversion applicable. (Unless the daughter(s) get sold into shfachot status. A whole other story.) (Who wants to marry a shifcha?)
Children of children are also manzerim. For all generations.
But they can marry other mamzerim/ot (and keep their mamzer status into future generations.)

    3. 12 51 -- Rav Shmuel claims he told her to divorce, per psak of Rav Dovid.

    4. 12.52 the sons are mamzerim
If they want to be mamzerim forever, they should marry another mamzer or an unsuspecting Jew, eg reform.
If they want their offspring to be free from mamzerus, they can intermarry, then convert their kids one by one.
Sad, but poor "bastards". Even bastardy is not as bad aszerus

    5. Medinat Mediterranean
Shfachos - that's not bad either.
The chamerz is sold. Shemitta has a heter mechira or otzar beis din.
These are loopholes. Just as ribbis has heter isska.
They are heterim to solve issurei d:oraitA
      So why not utilise shifchaot
      ?

  4. “Baltimore Beis Din” Yes the Rabbi Kaminetsky-Greenblatt Heter is Garbage, a terrible perversion of Torah and halacha. Wow a baby girl to Tamar Epstein, whatever name she uses now, from her 2nd husband with never getting a get from her first husband. I bless this baby girl to have a long happy life, as I bless everyone, I’m a Kohain. Thank God all is well with me, my wife Yemima, our 3 daughters and so far 3 grandchildren and with Susan, as far as I know, my 6 children from Susan and as far as I know 17 grandchildren. Oh my birthday is coming up Kislev 26, be 80. I did my 1 hour gym yesterday. This morning I drove my 1985 SAAB to Supersol at Marom Neveh and did shopping myself, loading the SAAB, driving home to Bnei Brak and unloading: Thank you God in Heaven.

    3. Thanks for asking, Rabbi KA, Yaffa (52) made Aliya 1995: all is well thank God: husband, 5 children, eldest daughter married, one son in the War in Gaza. Curious, I’m just trying to free my TIAA pension that pays Susan 55% from early 1995 with no end in sigh. Susan went to Rabbi Aryea Ralbag’s bet din in Brooklyn where she accepted before witnesses on 2/17/1993 the get I sent her Jerusalem. Yes I have documents proving I’m completely innocent of the false charge that I abandoned Susan when I made Aliya July 8, 1991. Susan abandoned me October 1992 when she insisted face-face she wants a get.

    4. Thank you for being so open.
Did Susan ask for the Get before you decided to move to Israel?
Why are the courts ignoring your testimony?
I forgot the name of the judge.
      Was it judge pruis?

  5. Thanks Rabbi KA for your questions and apparent support of my case to free my pension.:
    1) Did Susan ask for the Get before you decided to move to Israel?
Yes, but the Gamara says every wife asks her husband for a divorce (at least once in a long happy marriage…). Rabbi Mendel Epstein jailed for 3 years kidnapping across state lines recalcitrant husbands.
    2) Why are the courts ignoring your testimony?
Maybe because Susan brought two witnesses with sworn affidavits that I abandoned her and our 6 underaged children when I made Aliyah July 8, 1991 while I brought Rabbi Solomon Kornfeld, A”H, as my witness etc. Who knows? God runs everything.
    3) Why are the courts ignoring your testimony?
Maybe because the courts ruled 3 times that I waste courts’ time with frivolous testimony (Frivolous litigation is the use of legal processes with apparent disregard for the merit of one's own arguments). Who knows? AD2 has yet to rule on cancelling my $25,000 unpaid fines. I pray to God for NYS courts to free my pension.
    4) Was it judge pruis?
The Name of the Judge is Hon. Eric I. Prus: Matrimonial Part 5A Kings County Civil Supreme Court.

  6. “Baltimore Beis Din” Allow me Daf Hayomi today Tractate Zevachim 57a
Rabbi Akiva said to Rabbi Yosei HaGelili: But the verse states: “And their flesh shall be yours, as the breast of waving and as the right thigh” (Numbers 18:18). The verse juxtaposes firstborn offerings with a breast and thigh of peace offerings. Just as peace offerings are eaten for two days and one night, so too, a firstborn offering is eaten for two days and one night. Rabbi Yosei HaGelili said to Rabbi Akiva: You juxtaposed it with a breast and thigh of peace offerings. But since the Torah does not specify with which offering the firstborn is juxtaposed, I juxtapose it with a breast and thigh of a thanks offering, which are also given to a priest. Just as a thanks offering is eaten for one day and one night, so too, a firstborn offering should be eaten for one day and one night.

Beautiful. My theory. Wow the Torah gives the Kahanim “And their flesh shall be yours, as the breast of waving and as the right thigh” (Numbers 18:18). I’m a Kohain, in full redemption, speedily in our time, I get to eat the breast and the right thigh of various sacrifices. There are peace sacrifices, firstborn offerings, and thanks offerings. Rabbi Yosei HaGelili debates Rabbi Akiva the correct Torah source that the Kohanim have two days and one night to eat their breast and right thigh portions of the sacrifices.
