The panel are hoping to suggest that Trump's inaction for more than three hours while the attack was taking place amounted to a dereliction of duty and a violation of his oath of office.

  1. Wow. That smacks of desperation. It means that all the other stuff they've been obsessing about has amounted to nothing. Imagine going to a real court with "I heard" and "I say that" or "I was near the place and I think" and nothing more substantive. Rumours and uncorroborated allegations.
So what's left? Oh, when the Capitol was being stormed he didn't personally show up and tackle the guy carrying the Confederate flag.

  2. If "inaction" while attacks are taking place, amounts to a dereliction of duty and a
violation of a person's oath of office, then how many officials are going to be held accountable for "inaction", while the Burn, Loot, and Murder movement were raping American cities?

BTW who was president during the time the riots were happening and who was responsible for the "inaction"?

  4. I'm referring to the inaction of local officials, whose inaction led to the breakdown of law and order.

More reprehensible, was acquiescing to calls to defund the police, which emboldened criminals, and led to further breakdown of law and order.
