I watch, fascinated, the whole video. Today---Torah, kedusha, holiness--is so strong here in Israel. I was surprised at the vehemence of fighting the anti-religious in 1956 in Israel. Today the religious are in the government. The anti-religious and anti-Zionist are a shrinking minority, wholly outside the government. Oh, the irreligious and the Left are marrying late and having few babies. Aliya is so strong. I firmly believe we, in Israel, are in a favorable moment, a time of עת רצון: “As for me, may my prayer come to You, O Lord, at a favorable moment; O God, in Your abundant faithfulness, answer me with Your sure deliverance” (Psalms 90:14).
Is this the british wolfson? How did he have influence with the known anti semite dulles? Or did dulles (former head of the CIA predecessor during WWII) owe him / his family something (the audio says woifson was only 28 in the early / mid 1950s.)
Question remains: what did the known anti semite dulles owe him a favor for? And a half million dollar favor (multiply by ten or more for today's equivalent budget percentage).

In the USA today the overwhelming majority of Jews, religious and irreligious, are fired up Obama supporters, and proclaim “Israeli government shame on you.” In 1956 Rabbi Yosef Dov Sololetchik z”l and Rabbi Aaron Cutler supported “Israeli government shame on you!” and this is why they refused to make Aliya.”
