I'm sure the honorable Rabbis will be encouraging full compliance with election laws and condemn harshly any party who commits fraud int the election, no? Good Shabbis/Shabbat Shalom to Klal Yisrael
Rav Feldman's son-in-law is a local kano'i rav, so no surprises there. I'm not sure how Rav Shmuel Kamenetzky and the Novominsker have an informed opinion - they've never even stepped foot in Bet Shemesh, much less spoken to Eli Cohen or any Cohen supporters. I remember when Rav Shmuel had to apologize after banning the Lipa concert, admitting that he didn't have the pertinent information...
The Ponevezh Rav used to say "In kabbala there are razim and razei d'razim: razim is when the talmidim don't understand. Razei d'razim is when even the rabbi hasn't got a clue.
Perhaps they will go over the different shitos applicable in this election. They might choose to recommend Shitas Mexico - vote early, vote often Or they might try the Shitas West Bank - vote on behalf of dead citizens who were never dropped from the voter rolls Or they might try the Shitas Zimbabwe - physical violence against those attempting to vote for the other side. So many choices!

ReplyDeleteRav Shmuel never retracted or apologized for the Lipa ban. He stands by the original ban.
DeleteWhat's guidance provided by misguided people called?...
ReplyDeleteWhen your guidance and maps are bad you end up off the derech. This is the blind leading the blind without any compass.

The Rosh Yeshiva of Net Yisroel, huh?!
ReplyDeleteAny guesses why HE was brought in??
Who thinks this will just be a cheap anti-Litman rally??
...like: one vote per (adult) citizen, no votes for death people?
