  1. First they went after the Religious National but now they are going after Slonim Hassidim. Good things the Hassidim fought back.

The dati Leumi should take some lesson in resistance from the Hassidim,

  2. The Gerrer Chassidim in Batei Varha are "gam lo nisharu chayavim". When NK started up with them, they ended both in jail and in the hospital. Why is it that davka the people that go to the army and arrest terrorists are too wimpy to fight back against a few punks?

Hurling rocks, throwing oil, tossing diapers with feces in them, spitting at others, hooliganism, damaging property, beating up people, vandalism, causing mayhem, dressing up in fake Holocaust garb, flag-burning, waving the PLO flag -- so why are they so surprised that the Israeli police will arrest and jail them?

No doubt they will then be like the proverbial murderer who killed his own parents and then cries before the judge that he is an "orphan" and should not only be set free but should be supported for life.

  4. "Maybe now everyone will understand that the problem of the extremists bothers the chareidim more than the nonreligious"? Oh please.

  5. We still have too much faith that the state and police will put things right...

  6. Did the Eida leadership stand (Rav Shternbach) behind the hafgana last motzei shabbos where they dressed up kids with holocust outfits and yellow stars and said it was wrong wrong to arrest Weissfish?

I believe the ba'al hablog speaks to Rav Shternbach often and would know the answer.

There is much anger at the Eida at this time and I would love to understand what Rav Shternbach really says.

That is no longer proverbial. There was a case in California many years ago of two brothers who murdered their parents and who subsequently threw themselves on the mercy of the court because they were orphans.
