Amid Trump criticism: Israel limits Iran response to symbolic strike

Following sharp criticism from US President Donald Trump, Israel delivered merely a symbolic military response to Iran's Tuesday morning ceasefire violation, restricting its retaliation to a single radar strike north of Tehran after the American leader intervened to prevent a broader attack.

"Israel, don't drop those bombs," Trump declared. "If you do it is a major violation. Bring your pilots home, now!" The president had earlier told White House reporters that "Israel and Iran have been fighting for so long they don't know what the f*** they're doing."

Sources familiar with the situation revealed that Trump received updates throughout the night, confirming Iran had breached the ceasefire first. "Despite his harsh public criticism of Israel, the Israeli Air Force response will still proceed, with Trump containing and possibly supporting it."

  1. Villians know how to provoke without causing a response. They know when their enemies are unwilling or hesitant to respond.
The greatest example of this is how Hitler, y"sh, expanded Germany before WW2. Marching into the Rhineland. Are we really going to go to war over that? After all, it's German territory so I guess it's okay. Taking over Austria. Well they're all Germans so let them be united. Sudeten? Same thing, besides Czechoslovakia is a country we invented in the first place so who cares.
    And then came Poland.
It'll be the same here. An Iranian missle here or there, easily intercepted and because it causes no damage, well Israel shouldn't respond because the ceasefire is sort of holding.

  2. Or its entirely possible that, once again, Trump and Bibi planned this "confrontation" for deeper purposes. I mean, the odds are it's Truimp and his ego but we said that last time, and the time before, and the time before that too.
