Lots of women have been there on some level—proven their loyalty time and time again to the company, only to get passed over for the promotion by a less-qualified man. And boy is J.D. ReplyDeleteBeing VP is actually a lousy job. You get the idea you're being groomed for president one day but if the president is unpopular at the end of his term, you get drumped with him. You spend 8 years doing... something and showing up at Senate meetings just in case there's a tie vote. It worked out for Bush I, not so much for Gore. And then there's, who was Bush I's VP again?
