In a statement Tuesday evening, Biden said the deaths were a tragedy, and called on Israel to make public the findings of its investigation. “Israel has not done enough to protect aid workers trying to deliver desperately needed help to civilians,” Biden said. “Incidents like yesterday’s simply should not happen.”
