In a normal world, this wouldn’t happen. No responsible party would nominate for president a person who had disclosed classified information in the past, is under credible suspicion of having stolen and concealed classified information in the present, and who is under immense pressure to sell classified information in the future.
It's not a normal world though , and Trump 2.0 will be more dangerous than Trump 1.
ReplyDeleteActivist groups don't think ahead or consider the consequences of their targets winning the next election.
ReplyDeleteRight wing Jewish groups tarred Obama as "the next Hamas!" and worse. Then he won the election. Now, no doubt he was already planning to screw over Israel but the attacks from the Jewish right probably helped him overcome any doubts he might have had about it.
And now the same groups that turned Trump into "the next Hitler!" in 2016 are doing it again and will be shocked and horrified when he targets them after he wins the election.
