At first glance, it seems like the type of inane directive that would make one’s blood boil. It is thus quite understandable how ZAKA’s chairman and founder, Yehuda Meshi-Zahav, made it clear that ZAKA’s medics would turn their attention to the victims first, regardless of the injuries sustained by their attacker.

There's a difference between Torah values and being a fool. The secular moralists are fools, complete fools.
A person must know his role. The role of the first responder and health care staff is not to make moral judgements when it comes to triage, as terrible as it sounds.
ReplyDeleteThe Torah is the basis of absolute objective morality and is not subjective to accepted social norms.
ReplyDeleteA first responder or health care person, who is a Torah Jew, will look first to the Torah for guidance as what is considered "moral" or "immoral", and if Torah morals appear to be at odds with contemporary "morality", Torah morals should prevail.
