ReplyDeleteThis menuval was little better than Trump but because he was the anti-Trump they covered up his shenanigans and mistakes for as long as they could.
I am trying to see logic in your argument, but it is sadly absent.
ReplyDeleteLet us suppose for the sake of argument that they were both menuvalim, Trump and Cuomo, and not give gradings on whose anti-hescher was more filthy.
Cuomo resigned within a week of the scandal coming out, Trump did not resign in 4 years in office, and on top that he wanted to outstay his elected time.
So at least cuomo resigned - perhaps he learned from Trump's errors.
They didn't just cover up for him, they presented him as a "hero." He was much worse than Trump because Trump never instituted policies that sent covid-positive patients into nursing homes like Cuomo did.

I’m fighting radical progressive justice system in NYS. Here’s what I say to the 7 judges on the NYS Court of Appeals:

Alas, Israel, too, has radical progressive system. The illegal squatters in Shimon Hazadik Jerusalem neighborhood can remain and continue not to pay rent to rightful owners.
How to deal with radical progressive justice systems ? My theory. Don’t give up. Present facts. Don’t spend money on lawyers/detectives and such. Counter any lies and false statements.

Imagine - a Republican nominee for the Supreme Court is accused of mishandling a woman decades ago. The media immediately treats it as fact. As more and more wild and implausible accusations come out, we are repeatedly told that questioning them or asking for evidence is forbidden. Believe her! A man and his family are humiliated on the basis of "She said".
Now you have this and none of this is news. Nor is it news that Cuomo contributed to the deaths of thousands of New Yorkers through his mishandling of the pandemic. But recall the media coverage at the time - Cuomo is doing an amazing job! Cuomo is the leader we need, not Trump! Anything going wrong in New York? It's because of Trump! All Trump!

ReplyDeleteNo one should forgive Trump's sins. The point is that Cuomo was sinning for all to see but pretending to be a virtuous, benifecient leader even as he was being just as scummy as Trump was openly being.
