Kushner told Steve Hilton, the host of the program, that Trump took the virus seriously from the start.
“They said we would have shortages on the frontline workers PPE; they said that we were going to have people dying because they weren’t in ventilators,” Kushner said.“That didn’t happen.”
Kushner also credited Trump for his leadership in the push for a vaccine. He said there are several vaccines that are now in Phase Three trials, which is “faster than anyone thought possible.”
Kushner said the coronavirus has brought a lot of heartbreak to Americans and has been challenging. But he said Trump is the man for the job and prevented the country from being in a “much worse position."
More people died than necessary because of Cuomo's policy forcing nursing homes to accept covid positive patients into their facilities. He created this policy on a completely false basis of "bed shortage" which never happened as tent setups and hospital ships were never even filled. Cuomo is being sued now.

ReplyDeleteThis caused the virus to spread throughout nursing facilities. The residents there are the most at risk from the virus due to age and comorbidities, and so when you have more cases in a nursing home, you will cause more deaths, by simple math. If you keep the virus out, and have 0 cases inside the nursing home, you will have zero coronavirus deaths inside the nursing home.
Or do you no longer believe in social distancing, and now we're supposed to believe the virus spreads only via magic? When you bring in covid-positive people into a nursing facility it spreads like wildfire. There are endless published studies demonstrating this. There were many superspreading events in nursing facilities. You are in denial and it's making you sound foolish
What Cuomo did was *tantamount* to genocide of the elderly. (And that's what I meant by calling it that, in a tongue in cheek manner). I wasn't trying to claim literally that it was a genocide program. I can't know precisely what was in his heart or that of his staff and other officials and what their intentions were. Maybe it was just mind boggling incompetence and stupidity that was behind the order. Deadly stupidity. That's possible too. You originally denied there ever was such an order, you asked "WHO FORCED THEM?"
