You are right. The penalties for sexual crimes are not high enough. I find this case less striking than the case of a father who raped his daughter more than 1000 times and got away with 3 years imprisonment (in Switzerland). The maximum he could have got was 5 years.
ReplyDeleteI think that punishment for sex crimes should be cumulative: 1 rape 5 years, 2 rapes 10 years, 1000 rapes 5000 years.
