ReplyDeleteRemember that the day after Arafat, y"sh, signed Oslo, he went on Arabic radio and said that he had no intention of keeping his end of the deal and would use it as a springboard to destroy Israel.
I recall reading a story about the early US-Iran nuclear negotiations where an Iranian signed on an agreement. The next day he denied he had signed it and when confronted with his signature, claimed it was a forgery.
So no, I'm not excited yet. I fear Hamas will do something to scuttle the deal and try to make Israel look like the villain.
