Igros Moshe (YD III #87) Question Can girls be taught Mishnayos?Answer It is stated in the gemora and the Rambam cleaerly rules that women are not to be taught the Orah Torah which includes the Mishna and that this is like teaching them tiflos. Consequently the schools should not be teaching girls mishnayos. Only Avos since it is primarily ethical issues and proper behavior can be taught to them.
