But while Netanyahu is expected to be more willing to bend to Trump than he has been with Biden, the Israeli leader is also in a stronger position politically — and more able to resist U.S. pressure — than he has been since the Oct. 7, 2023 attacks by Hamas. 1. He'll struggle with Ukraine because the ultimate solution sucks.
If NATO fully arms Ukraine and helps them push Russia back to its borders, that will start WW3 officially. Talk all you want about how Ukraine deserves territorial integrity. Obtained that starts WW3 officially. So it's not an option.
A deal will have to be reached in which Ukraine cedes Donetzk to Russia but in return can station NATO troops on its new eastern border. That way Russia can claim victory and NATO acts as an official deterent to any further attempts.

    2. European people have memories. Before Russia, it was Poland that ruled Ukraine and they did such a bad job, we got Chielmnicki. Nope, they might fight the Russians together but they won't be uniting.

  2. You're not going to find any NATO members willing to send troops to Ukraine. Western or Eastern Ukraine. Last thing in the world they're willing to do.
