Trump can't win. If he'd told the truth, you'd be reminding us of how he sowed panic when people weren't ready to handle the truth yet. Because he lied to keep things calm, well that's also terrible.
Here is a lie that goes straight to the issue of national security and the safety of every citizen:
"It's ok to offend G-d. Nothing bad will come of it."
When was the last time a reporter challenged Joe Biden regarding his implicit support of that lie? Certainly it hasn't happened in any posts on this blog, unless I missed it.
Only Trump gets called out for lying. Like Joe Biden doesn't lie.
Wow! When the President's lies results in 190,000 deaths the obvious defense is other people also lie and he is just like everyone else. Total nonsense!
How many babies were aborted during that period of the pandemic? The President opposes abortion on demand. Where does the Democrat candidate for President stand on abortion?
Science can be, and often is, wrong. It would have been foolhardy for the President to bring down the economy in January/February based on some scientific reports and predictions that turned out to be only part right anyway.
Not as wrong as Trump is.I have no interest in a treatment plan or vaccine okayed by Dr. Trump. Even though he is a self proclaimed scientific expert. he is according to you the final expert as to whether science and medical information is valid Just as he is world's greatest general and wall builder as well as the best parent husband and leader. Final arbiter on the constitution and just about anything you can think of!?
Whether it's national security relating to health, war, immigration, etc he's there. He's involved in passing laws, and executing his powers under the law. All the time being a family man.
He lies and misleads to get his way to stay in power. He manages to keep the spotlight in himself. This distracts some of his detractors from organizing a coherent political opposition to him. Thus, Joe Biden's campaign is at best just treading water, holding on tenuously to a razor thin lead.
Pointing out how poorly Donald Trump is suited to be President is not going to get very many of his supporters to abandon him. Because as noted, Donald Trump is in the game. He's a player. Joe Biden comes across as someone on the the sidelines, ready to get off the bench and take over as needed.
The difficulty is that much of the crowd likes Trump. In fact, roughly half the electorate are in Trump's backyard. That's a lot of people. And sure I can be characterized as a foolish loser and failure for sticking to my guns. And maybe I am all that.
But as I keep going on and on about, I just feel loyal to G-d and can't bring myself to support the Democrats who are worse than Trump when it comes to moral issues. Fighting evil means taking action. Maybe Trump is all over the road, but he is, in the final analysis, a man of action. Biden just bides his time, and represents passivity. Passivity is a formula for allowing evil to flourish in the world, and the Democrat agenda is soaked with evil elements.

ReplyDeleteNo, the Chinese virus, lack of apropriate knwoledge and medicines on how to treat it resulted in 190,000 deaths.
ReplyDeleteIf you look here https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/deaths.htm
in 2017, Number of deaths: 2,813,503
That was without a pandemic. No country can prevent these deaths for a sustained period of time - until a safe and effective vaccine is found

A lot of mushiness in that article. Trump was getting all kinds of signals from his advisors.
