In an interview published over the weekend in the Makor Rishon newspaper, Goldknopf said:
“Their pain should remain with them, and our pain should remain with us. Don’t bring me your pain and pass it onto me. Let’s decide that everyone deals with their own package.”
In response, Ehrlich posted a scathing comment on Twitter, opening with:
"I am ashamed and humiliated by the words spoken by my representative in the Knesset. I literally bury my head in shame at such callous and un-Jewish quotes like ‘Don’t dump your pain on us’ or ‘Everyone with their own package’—such alienating remarks that go against everything our Sages taught us about the suffering of Israel, and about how when a Jew is in pain, the Divine Presence cries and says, ‘It is too heavy for My head, too heavy for My arm.’”
Ehrlich then referenced the example of Moses as the opposite model: “Even though Moses was exempt from the burden of slavery in Egypt because he was from the tribe of Levi, he still came down to witness his brothers’ suffering and to truly feel their pain.”

On Sunday, President Donald J. Trump modestly declared his first six months back in the White House as “the most successful” such period for any president in history, boasting that he “totally revived” the country after being “DEAD” under his predecessor, “ended numerous wars” and made this the “most respected country” in the world. He previously called himself the greatest president in history “better than Lincoln, better than Washington.”
He claimed his poll numbers among Republicans and his MAGA movement have risen to historic levels, particularly on his signature issue, immigration.
The rest of America doesn’t share their enthusiasm. His approval numbers are under water and sinking, according to statistician Nate Silver and a variety of non-partisan polls. They’re down on immigration, the economy, trade, and inflation. Overall, only 44% approve and 53.1% disapprove of his performance (isn’t that what it is for him, a performance?).

Answer It states in the Sefer Yeraim that it is a widespread custom to add the names of angels for the sake of protecting the house. The problem is that it looks like a amulet for the purpose of protection of the house and not a mezuza but there is no problem of baal tosif. Rashi clearly holds that a mezuza ptrotects the house and therefore there is no problem adding protection as long as it doesn’t violate baal tosif and doesn’t look like an amulet.
