Gay Marriage Authorized?

All the sources I have found say that Rav Mirvis supports the Traditional Orthodox view The question is whether these pages are genuine or a forgery?

  1. Nu, what's to stop someone from faking such a letter. Rabbi Mirvis has always apposed gay marriages.

    1. If in fact someone faked these letters, then let the office of Rabbi Mirvis come out with a denial, claiming that the letters are forgeries, and iterate his stance, that a "chupa" can only be performed with a man and a woman.
Until such a denial is issued, we can suspect that these letters are authentic.

    2. You are talking bs Mr IR.
Do you know London at all?
He's not based in Stamford hill. Nor does he represent that organisation

    3. This is the "irazuk" (kuzari backwards) principle which says if enough gullible people believe a lie, it must be true.
And if they don't respond on some obscure blog, that's even further proof.

  2. It's pure sheker and motzei shem ra.
The fake letter is produced by an amateur idiot.
The letterhead is not from the chief rabbi, but from the UK equivalent of agudas yisrael.
Rabbi mirvis is not part of that organisation
I'm not giving any more clues unless someone tries to improve on this forgery.

    1. Very good points!
You are probably correct, and I thank you for your enlightening input.
Having visited London many times, I should have known better.
