Benny Gantz, a member of Israel's war cabinet, threatened to resign his centrist party from the government if Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu does not give him a plan on how to deal with the conflict in Gaza by June 8.
I am not a big Bibi supporter. I think he should've retired 2 elections ago to secure his legacy which is now in ruins. I do believe he'll drag things out with the war against the H's to prolong what's left of his career.
ReplyDeleteBut give the guy a break. Now he's being criticized with how slow the war has gone. However, the casualty count on Israel's side is miraculously low. A strong and fast offensive into Gaza would've been successful but at a much higher cost to the soldiers and the same people would've screamed about that and said he should've gone slow and careful.
